Music Teacher
In May 2023, I joined the full-time staff at Deron II, a high school for students with special needs. This New Jersey High School is a private school for students who have need that their home districts cannot provide. I teach general music and the music elective courses such as choir, world percussion, and music club.

The Parsippany High School marching band is known as the, "Pride of Parsippany". I have joined their staff as an inclusivity coordinator and advise the student leadership, in addition to working with front ensemble and woodwinds. I started this position in the 2023 marching season.

Band Director
From Fall of 2021 to Spring of 2023, I was the band director at Blessed Sacrament Catholic School for their 4th-8th grade band program! The program was an extra-curricular after school program. Below you will find a video of the Spring 2023 concert. You can also access the 2021-2022 school year concerts and programs through the links below.
In Spring of 2023, the Blessed Sacrament bands were awarded a mini CODA grant from the Kansas Music Educators Association. CODA stands for Creating Outstanding Development in the musical Arts. This grant will fund the purchase of a music library storage system at Blessed Sacrament.
In Spring of 2023, the Blessed Sacrament Bands were invited to join a Wichita Diocese Schools Mass Pep Band during two Bishop Carroll High School basketball games. The Blessed Sacrament Red & Black Band members in attendance represented the school well!
As of May 2023, the Wichita Diocese East-Side schools have hired a full time band director for the 2023-2024 school year! This person will run the program at the Kapaun Mt. Carmel High School, Blessed Sacrament, and several other feeder schools. I ran this program as an extracurricular and the position was more along the lines of a contractor. I am thrilled that the kids at Blessed Sacrament will have a director who is dedicated to the advancement of their musical careers throughout middle and high school. I am thankful to have been a part of creating that opportunity for these dedicated young musicians.
Envision Child Development Center

Envision is an inclusive Child-Development Center for children from birth though age 5. Teaching music for the T2 and Pre-Kindergarten classes is one of my responsibilities as a Graduate Assistant at WSU. My experience working with this young age group with varying needs has been very rewarding thus far and I look forward to teaching them while I live in Wichita.
Wichita Music Academy | Garten's Music

In Fall of 2022 I joined the staff at Garten's Music teaching lessons for students studying band instruments. At Garten's, I teach clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, and flute! I look forward to working with these students during my time in Wichita and watching them grow as musicians.
Cerebral Palsy Research Foundation
Music Teacher
The Cerebral Palsy Research Foundation located in Wichita, Kansas hosts an adult day program for individuals with disabilities who have aged out of the public school system. My responsibilities at CPRF include organizing music experiences for these individuals in the program once a week. This is more of a recreational activity for them, but nonetheless is a valuable experience for both the adults that I interact with and myself as a teacher.
Mt. Tabor Summer Band Camp
Beginner Band Director
Mt. Tabor Summer Music Camp just completed its 69th year! This July I taught all beginner band lessons and rehearsed with the group. The group was able to learn 3 songs for the performance after just a month of learning how to play their instruments. The video below is our performance of Popcorn Prelude, by Mike Hannickel.
