Study Abroad: University of Richmond - Rome

I studied Comparative World Religions at The University of Richmond, Rome Campus, in January of 2020. This three week, "whirlwind tour" of Italy provided the opportunity to travel while continuing my education. While I was a little overwhelmed when the trip first began, I found the experience overall rewarding. There were challenges when it came to traveling alone, not fluently speaking the language, and adjusting to the time difference. I feel that I gained life-experience, insight into European culture, and a grasp for the value of language as a result of this excursion. The trip concluded right as the Covid-19 pandemic hit Rome. I am thankful to have had the opportunity to travel before the world shut down. Below are pictures from the trip.
